Welcome to HB Micro Propagation

HB Micro Propagation Laboratory is a family owned and run business, supplying the wholesale nursery industry with Tissue Culture plants for the last 30 years or so.

We have a wide range of cultivars available for grow-to-order production, and we also offer contract propagation.

Species propagated in the past include: Cordyline, Spathipyllum, Caladium, Alocasia, Begonia Rex, Eucalyptus, Grevillea, Capers, Ferns, Paulownia, Tassel Fern, Aphelandra, Dieffenbachia, Anthurium

HB Micro Propagation is run by Heather de Fossard and Barrie Jones. We are situated on Tamborine Mountain, in South East Queensland.

I have over 30 years experience in Tissue Culture and Horticulture. Training under my father Dr Ronald de Fossard, helping to run his laboratory. Also I ran my own successful retail nursery on Tamborine Mountain – Heather’s Garden Centre, and Florist – Bridal Wedding Flowers.

As my father has finally retired, I have taken over his long established business.
